This session will include a review of recent literature on secondary workplace trauma and burnout as it applies to both mental health providers specifically and more broadly to our clients. Three measures of burnout will be reviewed, along with diagnostic criteria for PTSD. A review of the neurobiology of burnout will lead into evidence based practices for burnout reduction.
